Hakan Calhanoglu's plan to join Manchester United was confirmed by several media.

German media had reported that Manchester United was approaching AC Milan player Hakan Calhanoglu. The news was also confirmed by the Italian media that Manchester United wanted to get Hakan Calhanoglu for free this summer.

So far Hakan Calhanoglu and AC Milan have still not found a bright spot regarding the contract extension which will expire at the end of the season. In fact, the latest news has reported that Hakan Calhanoglu had not received the salary given by AC Milan to him after the contract extension later.

Some time ago Paolo Maldini also confirmed that he would give a contract extension to Hakan Calhanoglu but he did not say exactly when it would happen but after AC Milan was linked by Florian Thauvin and Dominik Szoboszlai because of this the contract extension of Hakan Calhanoglu was hampered.

AC Milan has so far had a dilemma against its own players because AC Milan has also been linked with other great players. Naturally, Hakan Calhanoglu's contract extension is still constrained so far.

If Hakan Calhanoglu's contract extension fails there is still a possibility that Hakan Calhanoglu will join Manchester United in the summer and Manchester United can get him for free.

Indeed, Manchester United are currently looking for a replacement for Paul Pogba, who reportedly will leave Old Trafford in the summer, but it seems that Manchester United are still not in a hurry to decide who is right to replace that role.

We'll see if Hakan Calhanoglu will join Manchester United or maybe he will extend his contract at AC Milan because this transfer is still unclear so far.
