The FA is expected to investigate a social media post by Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani.


The FA will investigate Edinson Cavani because of his post on Instagram. According to the news, Edinson Cavani mentioned an inappropriate word to a someone who replied to his post on IG. 

Edinson Cavani then replied by using the Latin "negrito" which means negro. The FA will ask Edinson Cavani who this person is and why Edinson Cavani used such harsh words. 

So far it is still unclear who the person is, whether they still have family ties or not because after the post went viral Edinson Cavani immediately deleted the post.

It is very likely that Edinson Cavani will get punished for the incident because active football players are prohibited from using harsh words on their social media even though they reply with his own family. 

Previously, there was an incident between Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy, even though at that time Bernardo Silva was only joking with Benjamin Mendy but still the FA gave punishment to Benardo Silva ban for some games. 

Still have to wait for the FA's decision later for Edinson Cavani, whether to be sentenced to several games or maybe get a fine.

Joshua Kimmich, who was reportedly out for a long time, has apparently returned to training but is separated from other players.  Bayern Munich had confirmed after Joshua Kimmich underwent surgery that he would be absent until next year but it was not clear when he would play again.
